I’m really excited about our new, vegan menu options which we’ll be introducing soon.
For an Italian restaurant group like ours, making changes to our menu isn’t just a matter of introducing new pizzas and pastas. We spend months researching and testing to make sure that we’re delivering what our customers want.
And with more customers now wanting vegan options, we’re responding. We’ve developed new vegan dishes and last month we did a call-out on social media and held a tasting session at our Bayswater restaurant to see how our customers respond.
We had a lot of fun on the day and it was great to see how much our tasters were engaged with the process and enjoying their food. One customer said, he was very excited about our plans because, “It means I can go out for a meal with family members who aren’t vegan and we’ll be able to eat out together as a whole family again.”
Joseph, our chef said, “I could see our customers were really excited about the food going to their tables and they were happy as they ate. Almost all of the plates came back empty and that made me very happy as well.”
Even though some customers may not be interested in non-meat meal options, the traditional Italian diet was mainly vegetarian, with some meat on weekends. By introducing more vegan dishes, we are staying true to our Italian heritage.
Most of the new, vegan additions to our menu will be available for take away and home delivery as well. Stay tuned for more announcements soon.
