We’re delighted to be going against the recent trend of slow business growth with the addition of several new restaurants to our group. In the last three months, we’ve opened two new restaurants and we’ll be opening more soon.
Our restaurant in Orange, in country NSW was a dream-come-true for the franchisees, who have long wanted to own a La Porchetta. They opened in August and they are now a firm favourite dining destination in the area.
Our Phillip Island restaurant in Victoria opened just last month, in time for the busy holiday season in that popular summer destination. It’s a short walk from the beach and sure to become a popular dining spot.
Each of these restaurants contributes to its local community with the creation of dozens of new jobs and career opportunities. La Porchetta is committed to building career pathways for those of our staff who want to progress through the hospitality industry and we’re proud to say that over the years, we’ve nurtured many into management positions and even owning their own franchises.
Every La Porchetta restaurant also becomes a part of its community through the franchisee’s involvement with and contributions to local clubs and organisations. I’m very proud of the difference they and their staff make to the communities in which they work.
